Managing Devices

All information about a device is brought together in its device record under the Devices menu. Once a data connection exists, device data can also be shown here (see Machine Data).

Editing a device

Open a device’s detail page and modify any of its fields. Changes are saved; relevant events appear in the device’s Event Log.

Moving devices between deployments

You can reassign a device to a different deployment if it has been physically relocated. This updates the device’s location while preserving its complete history.

Caution

Moving a device to a different deployment may affect active work orders and strategies linked to that device. Review any ongoing work before moving a device.

Filtering and searching

The device list supports filtering by:

• Deployment
• Manufacturer
• Device Model
• Device Tags
• Connection status

Use the search bar to quickly find devices by name or serial number.
