Adding Content

Smart search searches not only master data but also your knowledge content: uploaded files, cases, and more. This page explains which content is included and what to keep in mind when adding it.

Content Source
Documentation Files attached to device models (manuals, datasheets, etc.)
Cases Existing cases including descriptions (also semantic search)
Devices Devices matching the query
Spare parts Matching spare parts from master data

Content from the Knowledge Hub — in particular files attached to device models — thus forms a searchable knowledge base that also feeds the proposals in cases.

You add searchable content by, for example, attaching files to a device model or documenting cases. Once the content is processed, it appears in search results.

Newly added files are not immediately available in search. The content must first be prepared (indexed), which can take some time.
