Workspace Settings
The Workspace Settings page lets you configure your organization’s workspace in WAKU Care.
General settings
Section titled “General settings”| Setting | Description | Editable |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Your workspace’s display name | Yes |
| Abbreviation | A 3-character short code (auto-generated at creation, used in IDs) | No |
| Business Type | How your organization uses WAKU Care (Service Provider, Device User, Manufacturer) | No |
Business types
Section titled “Business types”Your business type affects how certain features work:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Device User | You operate and maintain your own devices |
| Service Provider | You service and maintain devices on behalf of other companies |
| Manufacturer | You build devices and provide maintenance and support services |
Service Providers and Manufacturers can manage Customer Workspaces — separate workspaces for their clients that they can oversee and support.
Workspace Profile
Section titled “Workspace Profile”The Workspace Profile is a profile for your organization. It can include:
- Organization name and description
- Website URL
- Logo and images
- Visibility setting
Why the profile is required
Section titled “Why the profile is required”The workspace profile is required to share work templates “publicly” — that is, to make them available to all WAKU Care users. Only with a completed profile can other users see which organization a shared template comes from. Again, “public” means within WAKU Care, not the open internet.
