Part Picking

Part picking helps you prepare the spare parts needed for work orders. At a glance you see which parts have been requested, which are already allocated, and which are left over after completion.

You find part picking in a deployment’s inventory area. It can be filtered by deployment and maintenance tags.

Requested Parts needed by scheduled or started work orders
Allocated Parts already allocated to scheduled or started work orders
Left over Parts that were allocated to finished or skipped work orders
  1. In the Requested view, check which parts the upcoming work orders need.
  2. Allocate the parts to the work orders — they then appear under Allocated.
  3. After the work is done, Left over shows allocated but unused parts that can be booked back.

This ensures technicians have the right parts on hand and don’t have to wait for material.
