Service Jobs
A Service Job groups multiple work orders and/or cases together for coordinated execution. Service Jobs are particularly useful for planning technician visits where several tasks need to be handled at once.
When to use Service Jobs
Section titled “When to use Service Jobs”Service Jobs make sense when:
- A technician is visiting a site and needs to handle multiple work orders
- Several cases at the same deployment should be addressed in one trip
- You want to schedule and track a coordinated service visit
- Multiple related work items should be planned and completed together
Structure of a Service Job
Section titled “Structure of a Service Job”Each Service Job contains:
- Title and description — What the service visit is about
- Planned and scheduled dates — When the visit is planned and confirmed
- Assignee(s) — One or more technicians assigned to the job
- Linked Work Orders — The work orders to be completed during this visit
- Linked Cases — The cases to be addressed
- Status — Tracking the overall progress
Aggregated information
Section titled “Aggregated information”WAKU Care automatically aggregates information from linked items:
- Planned duration — Sum of planned durations from all linked work orders
- Resolution duration — Total actual time spent across all linked work orders
- Parts needed — Combined list of spare parts required across all tasks
